I think the Everything Apples program is a good, straightforward approach to marketing fudge for the fall season. It’s a good transition program to go from summer to fall. It brings the seasonal fruit into play.
Delicious, high profit fudge makes your store a destination.

“We were actually looking to make caramel apples this season, but when we got Calico’s mailing we switched to fudge-dipped apples. I dip apples in fudge and roll the bottom half in one of three different kinds of toppings – dark sprinkles, nuts or peanut butter chips. I also made some apples to look like Halloween pumpkins. I dipped them in orange-colored vanilla fudge and used royal icing to draw faces on them.
The first time I made Apple Pie Fudge, I used the dried apple rings that we carry. I learned that Apple Pie Fudge is much easier to cut and there’s better apple distribution when I use the dried apple pieces from Calico.
